We are very proud to present this very nicely restored steel body 36 Ford. The car received a ground up restoration about 1500 miles ago. This is a very nice tight car. There are no rattles and it drives really well. It's got plenty of power and steers and drives very nicely.
The body is all steel except for the fenders. The running boards and entire body are all steel. The hood is a one piece clam shell style.
This is a very nicely done car. It is absolutely ready to go to any show and present very well. You will see in our photos that the undercarriage is very nicely finished off.
You will also see that the frame is original and has it's original stamped VIN# on the driver's side top of frame with the 2 stars exclusive to Ford.
The interior is a nice light tweed. The builder decided to give the car a very simple basic look. It is not overdone and the light beige interior goes very well with the Ferrari Red exterior.
The dash has Autometer gauges and there is no glove box or radio on the dash to take away from the simple clean look. The radio is in the custom console. There is also plenty of space behind the dash to install air conditioning, which is the only thing the car does not have.
The trunk is nicely finished in the same tweed as the interior. There is plenty of room for your supplies and chairs for car shows or suitcases for taking a weekend trip.
Please look through our photos, and let me know if you would like to see more. There is one shot of a small chip just under the hood. There is also a small imperfection in the paint on the trunk lid. I could not get a good shot of it, you have to really look for it. Other than that, the paint is in excellent condition.
