House Of Kolor - Tangalo Pearl
We are very proud to present this super nice 38 Custom Chevy Tudor Sedan. This car is a real pleasure to drive. It has all the conveniences you would want in a street rod. The stance on this car is really nice. The 15" front and 16" rear wheels give it just the right look. The paint is in great shape. The House Of Kolor Tangalo Pearl is striking with it's purple and green highlighted flames. The engine compartment is finished off beautifully. The intake was painted to match the purple flames. The original vin tag and trim tag are present.
The 454 big block was rebuilt when the car was built approximately 12 years ago. The best estimate from our seller is that the car has less than 5000 miles on it since that time. It could be even less.
The big block runs great and it runs cool even in this Texas heat. There is a manual fan and the car runs at 190-205 at all times. This car is a driver. We wouldn't be afraid to drive it on a tour or long trip.
We have no idea what the horsepower is. The engine compartment is dressed nicely. This car will definitely take awards at any show.
Step into the car and see the great custom Ultra Leather interior. It is tastefully done in white with orange piping, and a burnt orange carpeting. The dash is clean and neatly done with polished aluminum face plates for the Auto Meter gauges. All of the gauges appear to be working. A Super Tach II has been added as well, along with the Vinatage Air unit and it's control panel. The 3 knobs below are from left, the choke, cigarette lighter and the manual fan control. The chrome knob under the dash to the left is the heater control. Just pull it down and it switches the a/c to heat.
You can see that the builder of this car took time to finish everything off neatly. There is a dash cam and rear cam for your convenience and safety. Since the glove compartment was used for part of the a/c unit, a small compartment was added under the dash.
The passenger seat folds forward and moves up for easy access to the back seat. The trunk is very nicely finished off, with a custom spare tire cover and battery box cover. The undercarriage of the car is not highly detailed. This is a driver and not a trailer queen. You can see however that it is very solid with no sign of rust. You can see the frame and floors look solid. There are front coil overs and rear leaf springs. The only chips we found are on the hood latches. Our seller does have touch up paint that will go with car. He will also include extra ld bulbs for the lights and the wrench for the wheel lugs. The American Racing wheels are wrapped in new Kumho tires.
