We are very proud to offer this beautiful 1950 Ford F-1 in our showroom.  We have invoices for every part that went into building this truck.    The owner of this truck built it to drive and enjoy. He wanted a classic Ford but with just enough upgrades to make it easy to drive. Unfortunately he did not get a chance to do that.   The interior was meticulously done. There are a few upgrades, like the under dash gauges, and the tachometer.    The original 6 volt system was upgraded to 12V.

Looking at the photos of the truck when it was found in NC, it had a flat  6 cylinder engine. The owner built the truck to be able to drive on tours and wanted a reliable more powerful engine. He found a Flathead V-8 that he had completely rebuilt.   We have an invoice from Carter Davis Machine Shop in Tulsa Oklahoma for the rebuild of this Flathead. The total rebuild was $2764. in 2006. The cylinders were bored .030 over and the crank was ground to 010. The heads were resurfaced and all other parts are new.   This is a beautifully done truck. Just hop in and drive it away.
