We are very proud to  present this really nice 51 Ford Custom. It has been built from the ground up and was built for the owner to enjoy. He wanted a car that was going to be fun to drive on long tours as well as just around town and be able to show it as well. He accomplished just that.   This Ford is a pleasure to drive. We drove it a round for the videos and photos on a hot Texas day and there was no overheating. It is very easy to steer, and shifts as it should.

Throughout the ad you will see some photos of the car in progress. It was a rotisserie restoration and we have receipts for over $20,000. just in parts and engine rebuild alone. That does not count the purchase of the doner car and frame.   The Auto Meter gauges are all working as is the Vintage Air unit.   The builder decided to leave the original dash color. It does go better with the light gray interior.   There is Dynamat under the carpeting, front and back.   The LaBaron Bonney top fits very well, and the top operates with no problem.   The 302 engine was completely rebuilt in 2010 by Richard's Performance Machine in Wagoner, OK. Over $2000. was spent on the rebuild and there have only been a few miles logged on the car since the completion of the project. We don't know for sure if the 158 on the original speedometer is correct.

The undercarriage is really clean, proof that the car has very few miles on it.   This is the frame at the start of the project. We have 3 CDs with photos and receipts for EVERY part that went into this car. Many of them were NOS Ford parts.   This is a complete list of every part to correspond to the receipts. There are several pages broken down into categories.   This is your chance to own a very nice 1951 Ford convertible that is ready to drive and enjoy. Just turn the key and hit the road.
