Garrett Classics is very happy to present this great 55 Buick Century Wagon in our current inventory.

The 1955 Buick falls into the second generation of Buick Centuries. The Century models were powered by the 322 cu in Fireball V-8 , often referred to as a Nail Head, rated at just under 240hp, and the engine was mated up to the Dynaflow 2 speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission have been rebuilt. The seller has some paperwork showing the work that was done.

The current owner has upgraded the ignition to a Pertronix system, eliminating the plugs and making for much easier starting. This car starts very easily. Other features are power steering, power brakes, and after market A/C which blows nice and cold.

We have a book of some photos of the car before restoration, as well as a list from the shop that worked on it with a detailed list of parts used and prices. There are no actual receipts. The photos show how solid the car was before restoration. There are even some original registration stubs dating back to 1960. The car was registered in Cal. at that time.

The paint is in very good condition. There are just a few small chips on the front fenders near the hood due to someone not closing the hood properly. The chips show in our photos.

Station wagons are making a comeback, and this is a great example of why. If you are looking for a classic, and have a family, what is better than a station wagon. They are also very nostalgic. So many of us remember our family station wagon and all of the long trips made in the summer.

This is a really nice car. It will do great at any car show and is also a great driving car for a weekend trip.
