We are very proud to present this extremely nice 55 Bel Air at our showroom.    The interior is very well done. The owner did a fantastic job of having this car brought back to it's original beauty.   We really do not have a great deal of history on this car, but I would say the photos say it all. The car went through a complete rotisserie restoration and you can see the result.   You can just see the work that went in to restoring this car. Right down to the chrome supports for the headliner, the used the best.   

We went over the car pretty carefully and found no real substantial amounts of Bondo anywhere. Of course there is probably some smoothing compound in places, but a very thin light magnet stuck everywhere we placed it.   The engine is running well and doesn't over heat.      As you can see by the trim tag, the car was painted to it's original colors of Gypsy Red and Shoreline Beige. The only option listed is tinted glass.    This is the original vin tag which was removed before restoration. We also have the sellers 55 Chevy Sedan Delivery for sale and the restoration shop removed that one as well. Since the car purchased for restoration had no engine, the owner went with the original type V-8 used in 55.   

The undercarriage is very clean. you can see the car was not driven much after the restoration. It had sat for a while however, so we rebuilt the carburetor, cleaned all fuel lines and cleaned the fuel tank and replaced the sending unit.   This small are with some chips is the only real flaw we found in the paint.    One of the only things not working on the car are the stainless flaps over the windows.
