This is a very nice 57 wagon. It was restored a few years ago, but the current owner has done a great deal of mechanical work in the last year. The interior is nicely done in 2 tone vinyl and dark brown carpeting. The dash is original, and the car was a column shift manual transmission from the factory and has been changed to a 700R4 automatic on the floor. The speedometer was newly installed so the odometer reflects the mileage since then. The fuel gauge is currently not working.
The 57 was an original factory a/c car, but the a/c is not working at this time. You will see the clutch peddle still in the car. This was an original manual transmission on the column. New under dash gauges were installed. The chrome and trim are very nice on the 57. The back seat lays down to give you full storage in the rear. The wood work is very nicely done and looks great with the stainless accent strips. Spare tire holder or storage, whichever you prefer. The new aluminum radiator and it's Syclone fan keep the car cool. The power brake set up was just installed with discs in front and drums rear. The Painless wiring harness is also a new addition. The undercarriage is in good condition. It appears that the rear floor pans were replaced at some point. The frame and frame to body supports are all solid.
The Crager wheels are wrapped in Cornell 1000 Radials 205/70R15s in the front and 225/70R15s in the rear.
