We are very proud to have this great classic 60 Corvette in our showroom. The look of the early C1 Corvettes is extremely desirable.   Notice that this car was just the 140th car produced in 1960. The early Corvettes in 60 had the vin tag in the door jam and were actually screwed on, not riveted. On the later cars that year the tag was moved to the steering column in front of the fire wall in the engine compartment.    The gauges are working, but the clock is not.   You will notice that on the old Powerglide auto transmissions, the gear pattern is reversed from other auto transmissions.

The vinyl top has been replaced.    There is a spare to match the other tires, so the tire sits up a bit in the well, causing the plywood cover to sit too high, so the owner removed it for now.   That is a reflection in the paint in this next photo, not a scratch.   This is really a very nice C1 Corvette. It would make a great addition to your collection, or just a great driver. It really does run well and drives so well it would be a great car for the lady in your life.    This engine compartment is really in excellent condition.

The 283 engine is not the matching number original, but it is from a 1958 Corvette and decodes to be the 283 4bbl 230hp V-8.

In 2017 the current owner had about $2700. (not counting carburetor) in work done to the car. Here is a list of the items addressed:
Replaced Transmission Dip Stick
Install New Fuel Tank and Straps
Replaced Fuel Sending Unit and Fill Neck
Installed New Fuel Pump
Replaced Accelerator Rod, Bushings, Return Spring
Removed and Replaced Right Exhaust Manifold and Installed Choke Tubes
Installed Transmission External Seal Kit
Installed New Carburetor
Engine Compression Test
Receipts Included

There are a few minor flaws on the car which we will show throughout the photos. There is a mark around the rear deck where the convertible top sits on it.   There is also this chip in that same area.   There is a small touched up chip on the passenger side front fender.    The chrome is in very good condition. There are a few minor scratches on the bumpers, but nothing that takes away from the looks of this great Corvette.   One other tiny chip is on the gas fill door.    The last flaw is this little dent in the stainless trim on the passenger side.

This is a great driving, beautiful classic that will make someone a really nice driver and or show car. The current owner has belonged to the Corvette Legends Club and has had years of enjoyment with it.
