We are very proud to present this beautiful 65. The car is an older frame off restoration done in 2012. The owner at that time decided to paint the car a factory Goldwood Yellow even though it was Rally Red from the factory.    In mid year 1965 Chevrolet came out with the L78 396/425hp engine. It was just a one year engine. There were only 2157 of these C2s built with this engine and at the end of 65, GM changed plans and never built this engine again.

The interior is in excellent condition. The trim tag lists the interior as STD. I was told that is black leather.  I didn't find a site to verify that.   The gauges are all working and look like new.   The clock actually works. You can see it in our video.    Both plates are secured with their original rivets.    The repaint was done extremely well. There is no sign that this car was every red.

The block is clearly stamped with the vin # and the block identification code. It does not appear to be a restamp.    For being a 10 year old restoration, and being driven, the undercarriage still looks good.     All of the rubber bushings still look good.    It looks like the side pipes were added later. The original holes for the exhausts are clearly visible.

We unfortunately do not have the tank sheet or any original documents for this car, but it is truly a beauty and what we believe to be the real thing.   All of the chrome is in excellent condition.    This car will make an excellent addition to your collection.
