This Mustang was purchased in 1966 by a couple in Oklahoma at Dub Richardson Ford in Oklahoma City. They owned the car until recently,  and the car never left Oklahoma.   A car is only original once, but this 1 owner Mustang is pretty close. We do not have the history of the car as far as what had been done to it over the years, but we can see that some of the paint is original and the interior looks to be original as well. The engine compartment is in excellent condition and retains it's original look.   The car sat in storage for over a year since the original owner passed, so when we got the car, the first thing we did was check the fuel tank. It was definitely in need of replacing. We replaced the fuel tank and sending unit, and completely rebuilt the original Autolite 2bbl carburetor.

The interior is in excellent condition.   In 1966, the C code Mustang was a 289ci 2bbl V-8 with 200hp and torque of 282 lbs/ft.   We have the original title from 1966 and the dealer contract. We also have the original OWNERCARD.    The undercarriage is very original. It of course has surface rust, but is still solid.    It appears that there was some rust preventive brushed on the floor pans.   The car has had some partial painting and there are a lot of amateur touch ups and some chips. We will show all of it in the following photos. It does look good from a distance and will make a great daily driver since it runs so well now.  This is the only real rust area we found. There are 2 bubbles under the original vinyl top and a small area by the chrome. The other side is fine.   This Mustang will make someone a very nice car.
