The current owner of this car purchased it a few years ago and was told it was an original car that has never been restored. We believe that may be true. If you look at it closely, it really appears that it is the original interior, and the undercarriage looks un-restored. The 462 engine is said to be the original engine and runs very well. We have had no mechanical problems with this car since it came into our dealership.
The trim work looks to be original and is not perfect, but is in very good condition. The top also appears to be original. It does operate, but needs a little help when going up to get the rear window to go into place. The undercarriage is showing it's age. There is surface rust, but we found no serious rust. It really does appear to be original. There has obviously been some work done on the exhaust. You can see the dash also looks to be un-restored and very original. This car has a great deal of potential. The body is solid and we found no areas of rust.
