We are proud to present this factory original Fairlane GT 390 4 speed.   The current owner of this collectible Fairlane GT has concentrated on the mechanical aspect of this car and has it running and driving great, which is what the car is all about.   The VIN# shows that this is a true factory Fairlane GT 390 2 door hard top. The tag also shows it to be original colors. It had a 3.25 gear ratio and had a 3 speed manual transmission from the factory.   The interior is said to be original except for the passenger seat which was recovered and it looks to be from a 66 GT.

The car has recently had the following work done:

New Center Force Fly Wheel, Clutch, and Pressure Plate
New Throw Out and Pilot Bearings
New DUI Digital Ignition w/Live Wires
New Turn Signal and Headlight Switches

On the passenger side of the block was this number which decodes to a 1967 -70 390 FE 2 bolt main. The owner is pretty sure it's the original engine.  The trunk is solid and shows no rust.    The body is very straight except  for a couple of flaws which we show in the pictures.    The undercarriage is in very good condition. It appears to be very original also. The floor pans are solid and the rockers look free from rust.    The dual exhaust system looks to be fairly new, and gives the Fairlane a great sound.

There are some body issues, but as we mentioned the owner is always into the performance of his cars and not so much cosmetics.   The bumpers and stainless bright work on the car are in very good condition.   This is the main flaw in the body. There is also a small chip over the rear drivers side wheel.
