We are happy to have this 68 Valiant which is a car that you don't see that often. This 68 Valiant is powered by a 1969 Mopar 383 bored 30 over with forged crank and rods. We will list all of the work done to this fast little car throughout the ad. The interior is all new and has "1971 Dodge Demon" style seats. You will notice all new rubber seals all around the windows and doors. The Vintage Air works great.
There is a high powered stereo with DVD and powered subwoofer in the trunk. Auto shifting is done with this B&M hammer style shifter. The headliner is the only weak point of the interior. It could use a little work. The interior was very nicely done. The paint was done a while ago and is starting to show it's age. You will see some examples in our following photos. The battery is now in the trunk, and has a connector for a trickle charger. The cold air hood with cowl induction was custom built. This engine compartment is really nicely detailed. Everything was put together neatly and with lots of thought. The owner purchased this car in 1999. He has built it to what it is today.
The Mopar 383 has a Weiand aluminum intake and a 750 Demon carburetor. It also has a Milodon aluminum waterpump and housing. There is a 4 core radiator with a aftermarket reinforced core support. It's outfitted with dual Dearale fans with progressive fan control. The gas tank is new, along with the fuel lines and sending unit. The wet spot on the picture below, is detailer, not a leak from the wheel.
Sub frame connectors have been added. There is also a custom driveshaft with Dana HD u-joints. The Valiant has 2 1/2 " dual exhausts with X pipe and Magnaflow mufflers. You will see some paint issues pictured. It is an older paint job and is a real looker from a little distance. The car still presents very well.
The wheels are 17x8 Riddlers with Nitto tires. The owner also has the original factory steel wheels pictured in a following photo. These will go with the car. This is an extremely fast little car. It drives great.
