We are very proud to present this absolutely incredible C-10. The owner of this truck wanted a really nice over the top 71 C-10 that was as good as you could get and yet a good driver.   He found a shop and a gentleman who agreed to do just that for him.In the following pictures you will see what the original truck looked like when found. The project took a total of 1 year. From the fit and finish of the truck, It appears all good GM sheet metal was used.

We are not sure where this yard is, but what a selection of trucks. This body was found and chosen for the project. You can see it was a good base. What is there, is very solid. There was close to $100,000. spent on this project from start to finish..

There was no glove box tag inside, so other than the VIN decode, all they had to go with was that is was a 1971 4X2 1/2 ton V-8 pick up.   The owner had the shop do the truck as a Cheyenne Super. He wanted it as close to stock as possible. There are only a few items that are not stock to a 71 C-10. That is the fuel injection, the cam, the electric fan, the custom headers, and of course the fuel tank being moved to under the bed. There are a few engine dress up items that are not stock as well.   The nice thing about a vehicle that started as a shell, is that you end up with everything new. The project was started in February of 2015 and completed in May of 2016.

The Buddy Buckets were an option in 71 and the owner wanted that look. This set was found as just a frame and was professionally reupholstered.   The dash and gauges are in excellent condition.    Literally , no expense was spared in building this beautiful C-10. Looks like the original stock truck, but with just the right modifications.

Below is the microphone for the Blue Tooth.   The owner chose to go with the Cheyenne package because of the very intricately detailed door panels.   The bed was ordered from Mar-K Manufacturing.

The bed has 10 coats of lacquer between hand sanding.  So, when the builder wanted to put the fuel fill in the bed the owner said no way. He suggested a marine application which worked well and did not take away from the beautiful bed.   A solid rear window was chosen over the original sliding one.    The undercarriage is amazing. This is like a new truck. It's hard to believe there are 4098 miles on the truck since the build was completed.   A 350 ci GM engine was chosen for the project. It was completely rebuilt. Valve covers and everything in the engine compartment were done as stock. They did go with an Edlebrock air breather.

This is a great driving truck.  It's fast yet great on fuel. The owner has seen it do 25mpg with no problem.    An Old Air Products after market a/c unit was installed which looks like factory air.   This is one of the items not stock. The owner requested a fuel injection system that would not call for drilling any hoes in the body and would work with the factory intake and air breather.

The Go EFI 4 with matte black finish combined with the Inline Fuel Pump Fuel Delivery Kit is rated at 600HP but is suitable for engines from 200HP thru 650HP. This self-tuning fuel injection system is perfect for your everyday Driver right up to your weekend Street Machine or Bracket Racer. It features the fastest most accurate self-learning available, timing control, wet flow annular discharge and tons of additional features.

It fits any 4-bbl intake manifold and is the most self-contained and full-featured unit of this type. The ECU (computer) is mounted on the throttle body, which greatly simplifies installation. No hole in your firewall and no unsightly harness draped across your engine. This is also the only computer mounted throttle body that offers spark control without the need for an external spark box or special distributor. It also has a built-in fuel pressure regulator. A hand-held controller features a touch screen for quick and easy initial set-up.

The Inline Fuel Pump Fuel Delivery Kit includes an EFI grade 255 L/PH inline external fuel pump that is suitable for engines making up to 600HP. (Note that some of our EFI kits are limited to less than 750HP due to maximum usable injector sizes). This kit also includes 40-feet of EFI grade fuel hose suitable for both the inlet and return lines between the fuel tank and the engine. The kit includes two billet fuel filters. The filters include a 60-micron pre-filter and a 30-micron post filter.

The factory look rims were custom ordered from Wheel - Vintiques.   To see many more photos, you can always click on any one of our photos and you will be directed to the album.
