Folder of Receipts of all Work Done
We are happy to present this very nice 71 Ford F-100 short bed pick up. It was restored in about 2014 according to the folder of receipts we have. The door tag decodes to show this was an original 360 cu in V-8 and was Swiss Aqua with a Wimbledon White top. It was 2 wheel drive and was built in Kansas City in August of 1970. The door panels are original but the seat but the rest of the interior has been redone. The gauge cluster is in great condition and everything is working. The bezel is new.
After market a/c was added and blows cold. The updated radio is Blue Tooth compatible and the speaker is located on top of the steering column. The seat has been reupholstered in a very nice off white vinyl with black Ostrich inserts. All of the rubber seals have been replaced throughout the entire truck. The tailgate latch is new.
The 390 remanufactured engine runs great. This was installed in 2014 and at the same time, there was a new 100 amp 1 wire alternator installed as well as the carburetor being rebuilt. We will list other items throughout the ad. The folder that comes with the truck has all of the receipts for the work done.
The engine compartment looks great. It's extremely well detailed. The engine is tight with no apparent leaks. This is a nice addition to the engine compartment. A complete tool kit and bottle jack properly secured to the inner fender. The undercarriage was not restored at the time the rest of the truck was done. Mechanically everything was gone over, but it was not a frame off restoration so it looks original.
The exhaust system was redone at the time of restoration. The transmission is the heavier duty C-6 3 speed. It's lighter and has more torque for the heavier engines. It was marketed between 66 to 96 as the " SelectShift Cruise-O-Matic".The transmission was freshened up with new inner seal at time of the redo.
You will see new bushings and many other new parts. As we said earlier, even though the undercarriage was not restored cosmetically, the mechanicals were all worked on. The front grill is original and does have a few dings, but is still presentable. You will see there was over $12,000. invested in the truck. If you are an interested buyer, give us a call and we'll go over all over the work done. This F-100 is an eye catcher. It would do great at a local car show, but is also great fun to drive.
