We are very happy to present this great 1971 Torino. This is a base Torino 500 with some Cobra emblems and hood scoop added by the current owner. The car has had only 3 owners since new. The original owner had it until 2008.   The interior of the Torino is original. It is the factory color Tu-Tone Green. It is in excellent condition with just 2 little issues. You will see them in the following photos.     There is a small area where the seam has begun to split a little.    There is this tear where the seat release lever has worn through.   The carpet is original.

According to the 3 owners of this car, these are actual miles.

History of Owners:

Original owner 1971- 2008
This owner kept the car absolutely original.

2nd Owner 2008- 2013
The car had roughly 26,000 miles on it.
Repainted to original color- paint was getting thin is areas. He painted it the original Anti-Establish Mint Green. He did not like the vinyl top so he left the molding and painted the area above with satin metallic green.
He bought it to be a daily driver and said it was as reliable as he could have ever dreamed. He said it drove better than his other car with a 351Windsor in it. He logged almost 30,000 miles and when he sold it it was just at 56,000.
This owner upgraded all original parts with new replacements. He did everything from seals to wiring and everything that needed attention.

3rd Owner-2013 to Present
This owner has done a great deal also to this great Torino.  He apparently did not think the previous paint job was good enough, so he had it completely repainted with base coat/ clear coat, and put the correct vinyl top back on. He added under dash A/C. He had all stainless and chrome polished and reinstalled. He had the C-4 transmission rebuilt, added a Dakota Digital cruse control kit, and so much more it would take forever to list everything. We have the complete list from the last 2 owners.

A backup camera has been installed and comes on when the car is put in reverse. There is also a front camera, but it is not hooked up.   You can see the doors are clean underneath with no rust. This car has been well maintained and even the undercarriage is free of rust.   The back seat looks like it's brand new.    The current owner has added Cobra badging and a hood scoop. He said it is not screwed on and can be easily removed.    You can see there is a 351 sticker on the fan shroud, but the car is actually powered by it's original 302 V-8.   The engine compartment has been detailed and looks good. This car truly runs great. The engine runs cool and there is no leaks. The current owner said it's not a real high powered car, but will do 70-80 mph without a problem.

The trunk is clean and rust free. There is a spare and jack.    A complete custom car cover comes with it as well.    For a 50 year old car, the undercarriage is in great condition. There is obviously some over spray on the gas tank, but you can see how original it is. All of the frame and body supports are solid, as well as floor pans.    The 3rd owner did have the exhaust system replaced with factory style exhausts and Dynomax mufflers.   The C-4 transmission was rebuilt while the current owner has had the car. He also added a shift kit.

All bushings in the suspension were replaced with poly-graphite bushings instead of the original factory original rubber.    He added new Addaco front and rear sway bars.     We did find a few bubbles on the passenger door and rear lower quarter panel.   The Torino rides on American Racing Magnum 500 wheels, 17x9.5 and 17x 8 with Nitto tires.    The headlights are set up to come on automatically when it gets dark.     In 2015 the current owner and his wife enjoyed the 19th annual  Cruisin' the Coast. This car performed beautifully.    You can see how straight the original body panels are.

This is your opportunity to own a very nice Torino 500. We will be more than happy to email the list of items done by the last 2 owners. They both attest to the reliability and great ride of this car. Watch our video above to see it running and driving.
