We are presenting this one family owned 1972 Oldsmobile that was purchased new by the current owner's mother and father. The car then went to his great aunt and then to him. All 3 owners were here in the Dallas - Fort Worth area. This car has never left the area.   The car is unrestored except for the paint. At some point one of the family members had it painted. It is a fair paint job and has a few flaws. The original color was Nordic Blue. We aren't sure if this repaint is exactly the same, but it is very close.   

The power windows work, as well as the power top.   The interior is original except for the front seat. It was reupholstered at some point.    The mileage is actually 135853. Considering the age of the car, that isn't really a lot of miles.    This rear seat and door panels are all original.    There appears to be no rust in the convertible top mechanism. This is a common spot for rust to form.   There is a boot for the convertible top when it's down. It is original, but still in fairly good shape. 

The original jack is still in the trunk as well as the old spare.   The car could use new seals around the doors and windows.    The car has been maintained well mechanically. The current owner has taken care of whatever issues arose. It has a new battery.   The engine compartment is original and is not detailed at all. With a little TLC, this car would make a great driver quality car and could do any local car show in the original or unrestored class. 

We have the original Protect-O-Plate as well as original titles and other original documents.   The undercarriage is solid. It has the normal surface rust, but no major issues on the frame or floors. There are some bubbles on the quarters, which we show in following photos. 

There are some rust bubbles on the lower quarters, which is not uncommon.   The top has a glass rear window. It is in good condition. It works well, you will se it in the video.    There is a small flaw where the top creased when down. It is not a tear.
