We are happy to have this very nice 79 Pontiac Firebird in our inventory.    The interior is in excellent condition with just 2 flaws. There is a small crack on the dash and a crack on one side of the console.    The Trans Am has been partially restored. There are still some original areas, such as the dash and console. One other item on the car that is a negative, is that the heater core was removed due to it leaking. The A/C is working well.    The trunk lid does not stay open on it's own. That is one of the few flaws in the car.    There are all new wheels and tires on the car, including the matching spare.   

The 6.6 liter 403 V-8 is said to be the original engine and runs great. It's been treated to a recent service, and all new belts.   You can see the engine compartment looks quite original and is in very good condition.    The car was also treated to a new brake job, including the master cylinder and booster.    The undercarriage is in very good condition. It's clean and solid with no rust that we could see.     

The last little flaw, is this discoloration on the rear window. The car has a rear window shade which had a broken tab lock and the owner decided to remove it. The window had these spots on both sides.    The new paint is exceptional. Once completed, the paint was ceramic coated.    The good points on this car far outweigh the few minor flaws. This is a very nice T/A. It runs great and is a pleasure to drive. 

You really need to come and take a look at this car in person. It is a very nice car and will make a very nice first classic or just another nice car if you want a change from your current car.
