We are currently offering this matching numbers 1981 Corvette. Mechanically this car has had a great deal of work done to it in the 4 years the owner has had it. We will list the extensive work below.  The interior in the Vette is in fair condition. The seats and foam have been redone, the carpet is new, and the console side panels and compartment doors in the rear are all new.  The A pillars and inside door to body area looks good. No signs of rust.  

There is still some cosmetic work to be done on the interior, but nothing extensive.   The Corvette radio is new, alone with a new power antenna, and new speakers.  New speedometer cables were installed.   These doors are all new as well.  This car was also one of the last group of cars produced in St. Louis before they switched production to Bowling Green.  

Here is where a great deal of money was recently spent. The owner went over this entire engine. A new Edlebrock performance package was added. This includes, new intake, carburetor, and camshaft. The horsepower rating is now 320hp versus the original 190hp from the factory.  Also added were, a new Edlebrock air cleaner, Edlebrock signature valve covers, a precision harmonic balancer, Duralast temperature sensor, and timing tab.   Also added were, a new transmission mount, Edlebrock timing chain performance link, timing cover, and oil pressure switch.

  New roller rockers were installed, 1.6 ratio 3/8".   There is a new 2" exhaust system with Magnaflow Mufflers.   New starter just recently installed.  The brakes are 4 wheel discs The brake system has been recently treated to new brakes, calipers, flex lines and pads.   The owner also just bought a new set of motor mounts which he did not get to install, but will come with the  car.   The tires are B.F. Goodrich Radial T/As in the front, 255/60R15s, and Grand Prix, Performance GTs also 255/60R15s.  There is this one little curb rash on the rear drivers side wheel.
