Garrett Classics is proud to showcase this great little piece of history.   At a cost of $1,789 new, this was the lowest priced American automobile in 1959.  This is a great driving little car. It runs great and handles extremely well. It is definitely worthy of any local car show and has already taken home it's share of trophies.  The paint & body are in exceptional condition. This car was restored & painted approximately 4 years ago. The finish is '57 Chevrolet Tropical Turquoise with an Ivory top. We have an album of photos detailing the restoration work.

Purchased  by Dave and Maris as a project years ago. They never had a chance to work on her and decided to sell her. The current owner and friend purchased her from them and put a great deal of TLC into bringing "Rambling Rose" to where she is today.  The interior is custom done by Village Upholstery in Highland Village, Texas. Over $6,500 was spent on this beautiful custom upholstery. These bucket seats are originally out of a Chevelle. The center console has real wood grain while the dash is also finished in wood grain with updated gauges along with the functional factory speedometer cluster.

Under the hood is the highly detailed and smooth running original 195 cubic inch (3.2liter) Flathead 6-cylinder engine. The trim and VIN plates are intact and legible, while the sheet metal is in great shape throughout the inner fenders, core support and firewall. Note the highly detailed firewall air box and engine breather assembly. This is a well-done engine bay. The under hood insulation has also been replaced. You're looking at a desirable Edmunds aluminum cylinder head along with 3 carter carburetors. These vintage parts will be available to purchase if the buyer would like them. We also have gasket kits and fuel line included. Call to discuss price.

The trunk is finished out and in excellent condition. Custom upholstered panels adorn the trunk inner quarters along with the trunk lid. A spare tire/wheel is in place. We also have a set of 4 matching wheels to this one included.  The undercarriage is displayed above. This car has had suspension work done front to back along with some flooring work.
