The interior is in very good condition, considering it's original, except for the carpet and headliner. There are some imperfections on the driver's seat and a few minor little cracks on the door panels. The dash is good as is the package tray. The current owner purchased the car from a gentleman in Kansas who had owned it for many years. It was a great running car and really needed little attention. We can't say for sure, but the odometer reads 84,480 and it could very well be actual.
The trunk is clean and includes a spare tire. The bright work is exceptional on the Chrysler. the bumpers and stainless are in excellent condition. The 440 engine runs strong and there is no smoking we haven't noticed any leaks. The data tag is intact and shows the car to be as original except for the color of the vinyl top. The undercarriage is in good condition. It shows it's age, but no major rust or any serious issues.
The exhaust looks to be fairly new. One new item on the 72 Imperials were the side marker lights. They were changed to these emblems with the eagle in the center. The original top according to the trim tag decode was yellow. However, the current owner decided to go with the black top which looks great.
This is a great cruising car. You can't get a much smoother ride in an older car. This would be a great addition to your classic collection if you are into original full size cars.
