We would like to present this very nice Corvair that almost everyone will remember, and may have had at some point in the past.   The Corvair produced from 1960 to 1969 was the only American designed mass production car with a rear air cooled engine.   The dash has no cracks.

A Pioneer Stereo has been added. The under dash A/C is working well. The heater boxes however are not hooked up. The owner chose not to hook them back up, and he was going to add either the gas type heater or electric if he had kept the car. You can however hook the original tubes back up if desired. They are under the back seat.

There are a few more cosmetic items that could be addressed, most of which are on the dash, but over all this is a very nice example of the 1963 Monze Spyder.

Our seller purchased the car from a local gentleman who had spent just around $9000. in mechanical work and paint on the Corvair. He had everything gone over, from the clutch, transmission, brakes, and much more. He had the new top installed the car painted, and much much more. We have the receipts which will go with the car. The current owner rebuilt the carburetors and installed the new carpet.

The engine compartment is very clean and well detailed.   We apologize for the color in some of our photos. The shot of the hood is the closest to the actual color. In a lot of our shots it appears to be purple. This was a very hard color to photograph. It is a very nice metallic blue and with every change in light, it changed color.

The trunk is clean and solid. This car has been in Texas for quite a while and looks to be quite rust free.   The undercarriage is very clean and again, we did not detect any rust.   The owner searched for a set of Spyder hub caps, but couldn't find a good set. That would really set this car off.
