We are very proud to present this very nice 73 Corvette. The restoration was done over a period of approximately 5 years being completed in early 2019. The original owner sold it to the gentleman who restored it. The car was original at that time and had low mileage. It was a white car and had it's original 350ci V-8. The new owner drove it that way for a years and then decided to restore it and change it a bit.
The current owner purchased the car from the restorer just after the restoration. However, his health has not been good and he has put just a few miles on the car, and that is the reason he is selling. The new interior includes leather seats, new door panels, carpet, etc. As we said earlier, the mileage on the car shows on the odometer, but the engine only has about 400 to 500 miles. As you can see on the console tag, this was an original 350 cu in V-8 but it now has the flat tappet Tune Port Injected V-8. The JVC stereo is of course a new add on.
The T-Tops are in excellent condition and are very easy to remove and re-install. The headlights are vacuum operated and work very well. Watch our video to see them operate. You can see the engine compartment is in very good condition. The top of the TPI was powder coated as were the valve covers and the headers are ceramic coated.
The gentleman who restored this car, is not a famous restoration shop. He has however restored many Corvettes and Camaros over the years He is very meticulous and this car shows it. The Brakes are all new except for the rotors which were in good condition when the brake work was done.
The sport mirrors were another add on that the restorer decided to do. The Torch Red paint is in excellent condition. There are a few very minor flaws, 2 little chip touch ups and a few surface scratched on one of the T-Tops. They were hard to show in the photos.
