We are presenting this very well done 69 Nova Pro Street monster. It is something you have to see to appreciate. If you are into pro street cars, you need to check this one out. Just put a set of slicks on the rear and take her to the track. Or, do a few minor interior changes and buff the paint and take her to any show.
When the current owner found the Nova, it was just a well run drag car. It was just what he was looking for to drop his built Donovan 572 ci engine in. Not wanting to drag race the car, he turned it into a very strong Pro Street. The car is registered here in Texas for the street, with a clear Texas title. The body is in very good condition with no rust and the fit is good. The paint could use a good buffing and this car would be show worthy with just a few minor interior modifications.
The engine is the focal point of this car. It is extremely well built. The best parts were used and there are receipts for everything. The Donovan 500 Aluminum block has been built with an Isky Cam and aluminum heads and everything to bring this engine to 572 ci. The car has never been on a dyno, so the owner is not sure of the exact horse power, but it's not as much about horse power as it is about the performance of this car. The roll cage has the removeable bar for easy access to the driver's seat.
There is some carpeting missing in the back, but a roll of a similar carpet is included. The rear tires are new and have literally 22 miles on them. The owner installed a fuel shut off, as well as the battery shut off shown above.
