We are very happy to showcase this really nice Chevelle SS 396. It is a real SS 396 which can be verified by the VIN# and the cowl tag. The car was a frame off restoration before being purchased by the current owner. It is finished in a 2003 Chrysler Electric Blue. The paint still remains beautiful. The entire frame was also painted. The current owner purchased the car in 2013. He added many extras to an already great car.
Step into 1967 when you enter this car. The interior is completely restored. It looks original except for the upgraded dash. In 1967 The VIN# shows that this is a true SS396 car. The 13817 are the first 6 digits and this number also appears on the trim tag. There is no sign of rust under the doors or anywhere else on the car.

As you can see by the list, the owner didn't leave much out. He has maintained this car well. There is a bit of a bump in the dash pad. The previous owner installed this power trunk lid opener. It's operated by a switch under the dash. The trunk is solid and has just a small amount of surface rust. This is most likely from a mat that had been in the trunk before the power opener was installed. This is a true SS396 car, and the engine casting numbers show it to be a 1966 396 engine block.
It's hard to see the middle number on the body number, but it appears to be an 8 showing the 13817 as in the vin. The car was built in Fremont, CA. You can see the exhaust cutouts which are operated by a switch under the dash. The Chevelle is fitted with Global West upper and lower control arms up front. The vinyl top is in excellent condition. There are no bubbles or any sign of rust coming up from under it in the usual areas that tend to be a problem. The only flaws we found are these small rub marks on the passenger side rear area by the window.
You can see how straight the body is, and the paint is excellent. This is truly a beautiful Chevelle. The owner has taken many awards at local shows and we are sure that the new owner will continue to do the same. If you are in our area this one is a must see.
