Garrett Classics wants to showcase this classic '57 Chevrolet two-door post sedan. This car showcases an older restoration and is a pleasure to cruise in. The paint and body are in good condition. There are some chip touch ups and minor imperfections. There are a few bubbles on the driver's side of the drip rail (photographed) altogether an attractive solid car. The doors, hood and trunk line up well. The chrome is in good condition front to back. This is a 210 with BelAir trim inside and out. As you can see, there is not an original VIN tag. This car is being advertised for it's owner. He purchased it with this tag and a clear Louisiana title and it now has a clear Texas title.
The 2-tone vinyl upholstery is in good condition front to back. The headliner and door panels were also redone. There is a hole in the front seat (photographed). Also included is an extra gauge cluster if you choose to replace the original which is a bit cloudy. The dash and gauges are intact as is the dash trim. The gauge lenses show some age, but decent. We have a spare cluster that is included. There is a chip on the hood just right of the chrome bullet visible in the above photo. There is a can of matching paint with the car.
Under the hood is the later 350 V8 with 4bbl. carburetor & aluminum intake. This is a mild power plant, paired with the 3-speed automatic transmission. As you can see there has been some work done on the undercarriage. Some of the body supports have been replaced with home made cross pieces. Right where the welding was done is where the frame VIN# should be, and we cannot find it. The undercarriage is in good condition but as mentioned previously, there has been some work done on it. There is some bondo and the replaced supports.
