The exterior paint and body are in good condition and the body gaps show correctly. This is a solid Vette that drives out nicely. The original trim/molding around the back window has some fading as well, never refinished. The car also has several notable paint chips, primarily the front bumper/nose.  The steering wheel was replaced along with the shifter boot, console assembly & rear storage compartment assemblies. The carpeting has been replaced front to back as well. The dash lighting was serviced/redone & the headlight vacuum system has been restored. The windows have been tinted as well.

The interior is clean and original with exception of the CD stereo, carpet and the console. There are some  cracks in the seats and seam separation (see photos). The driver's seat really could use a new seat cover. The gauges are functional down to the clock. The air conditioning blows cold and heat hot. The headlights and headlight door assemblies operate correctly as well. The power locks & windows work.  The odometer shows actual miles since the speedometer was replaced. The original one was at 44,000 miles when changed out, so the car has actual miles of around 72,000.

1982 would be the last year of the Corvette C3. The Corvette came with the automatic transmission only, a manual was not offered in '82. This transmission has been rebuilt and shifts as it should.  The door panels are in good condition left & right.  The glass T-top roof panels are in good condition left & right.   The engine compartment is bone stock and in very good condition. The factory SMOG equipment is intact along with the cold air induction hood & breather assembly. The factory cross-fire injection system works correctly as well. This is a car that can be driven. The engine has been very well maintained. Recent work includes the alternator replaced, starter replaced, and exhaust system.

The undercarriage is original and in good condition. The U-Joints are making some noise when you put the car in gear, but the car drives out good.  The door undersides are solid, however the car will need weatherstrip. New rubber weatherstrip is included in boxes (see photos) Also, there is some rust on the door rubber weatherstrip mount points on the top front edges (see photos) The weatherstrip has not been installed should the new owner decide to repaint the car now or the near future.  The driver's side door jamb has some cracking (see photos)
